Spartans' Giving: Every Gift
Adds Up; Every Gift Makes a Difference
The B. W. Harris Episcopal School Alumni Association encourages alumni and
friends to make a difference to the school by making tax deductible gifts.
These gifts strengthen the school's ability to serve students through scholarships,
teaching, innovative technology, extracurricular activities and capital investments;
they help shape the experience of every B. W. Harris student and faculty member.
Every gift adds up! Every Gift Makes a Difference!
Spartan Hall of Fame
Hall of Fame membership is enshrined with a gift of $500.00. "Hall of
Famers" are acknowledged for their generosity during the Annual Convention
and receive a plaque to commemorate this unique achievement. The Hall of Fame
will be published each year in the Convention program and prominently displayed
on the Association's Website. This level of contribution includes the annual
registration fee of $70.00. Contributions from "Hall of Famers" support
all aspects of the Association programs including technology, building renovation,
teachers' salary subsidies and scholarships. The generosity of Hall of Fame
donors offers the Association flexibility and the capacity for special opportunities;
this constitutes the leadership circle of Alumni donors.
Spartan Wall of Recognition
Placement on the Spartan Wall of Recognition is achieved by a donation of
$200.00. The Wall of Recognition will be displayed at each Annual Convention
and maintained on the Association Website. $100.00.00 of the Wall of Recognition
contribution is specifically designated to fund the renovation of the school
building. The other $100.00 will be used to support other Alumni Association
programs. Donations at this level offer significant capacity to the Association
to fund building and other infrastructural renovations, while sustaining its
other programs.
Spartan Wall of Memory (WOM)
The Spartan Wall of Memory offers an opportunity to honor the sacred memory of our departed loved ones. Placement on the Spartan Wall of Memory is achieved by a donation of $150.00. The Wall of Memory is opened to any departed loved one that the contributor elects to honor. The Wall of Memory will be displayed at each Annual Convention and maintained on the Association's Website. $100.00 of Wall of Memory contributions will be specifically designated to fund the renovation of the school building. The remaining $50.00 will be used to support other Alumni Association programs. Donations in honor of our blessed departed offers a special way to memorialize those who have gone before us and at the same time significantly increases the capacity of the Association to fund building and other infrastructural renovations, while sustaining its other programs.
Spartan Pride
Imagine if every Spartan showed Spartan Pride each year. Participation at the
Spartan Pride level offers an opportunity to show meaningful and ongoing commitment
to the school. Every Spartan who does not contribute at the Hall of Fame or
Wall of Recognition levels during a Spartan year is encouraged to show their
Spartan Pride with an annual gift of $100.00. Members who achieved Hall of
Fame or Wall of Recognition status in prior years are also encouraged to show
their Spartan Pride annually with a $100.00 contribution. During the building
renovation, this $100.00 is designated solely for that purpose. Spartan Pride
donations will be reported each year at the Annual Convention and on the Association's
Web Site.

Why should I give
- The Spartan class challenge is intended to exhibit a spirit of
giving to our dear school through the collective efforts of the many
men and women who were privileged to walk the corridors of the Bravid
Washington Harris Episcopal school. It is our hope that the philanthropy
of Spartans and others will sustain our excellence into the future.
- Making an annual gift to the class challenge is an important initiative
to begin at this time.
- Give because you have a Spartan spirit and love for the blue and
white
