Mr. Tony Deline is appointed Interim Principal of B. W. Harris High School
Monrovia, Liberia- B.W.Harris School(December 2008) :The Episcopal Diocese of Liberia under the leadership of Bishop Jonathan Hart has appointed Mr. Tony Deline, an alumnus, and member of the board of trustess, as acting principal of the B. W. Harris Episcopal School. Mr. Deline replaces Mrs. Zoe Davies-Traub who was transferred to a new assignment in Harbel, Firestone. Mr. Deline will act as administrartor pending the appointment of a full time principal.

Class of `78 celebrates 30 th Anniversary

Wilmington, Delaware(October 2008)- Members of the Class of ’78 celebrated their 30th anniversary since leaving the walls of B.W. Harris HighSchool. The “Fortunates”, as they refer to themselves, kicked off their anniversary celebration with a dinner/dance at the Doubletree Hotel on Saturday evening. A worship service and a brunch followed on Sunday morning.

Smart Technology Project Phase I completed
Charleston, SC.(October-28, 2008)- A consignment of technology, media, and science materials has been shipped to Monrovia for use at the B. W. Harris school. The items which were shipped from Florida, left the Port of Charleston on October 26, 2008 and will arrive in Monrovia on December 16, 2008. According to Spartan Darren Wilkins, project manager of the Smart Technology Project, "this completes Phase I of the project. Phase II begins in December following the arrival of the materials."

First post-convention board meeting held
New Jersey (October 25, 2008)-BWHAA-USA held its first post-convention face-to-face meeting in New Jersey on October 25, 2008. The meeting was followed by a fundraiser which was held by Tri-State Chapter.

B. W. Harris releases its 3rd quarter financial report
Rockville, MD., October 13, 2008 -- B.W. Harris Episcopal School Alumni Association, Inc.- USA today released its fourth quarter financial report for the fiscal year 2008. The report shows income and expenditures for the months of July 1 st through September 30 th of this year. The report which is preceded by the just released comprehensive Convention 2008 report, indicates a $47,707.03 net balance after a total expense of $2,825.97 was deducted from the total income.
