Message From The President Of North Carolina Chapter
My fellow Spartans and Friends,
The officers and members of the North Carolina Chapter welcome you to the 21st reunion of our illustrious alumni association. It is with great honor that we host this extraordinary weekend. This is a privilege unlike no other that has been bestowed upon us.
We have graciously enfolded this opportunity to showcase our Southern hospitality to our fellow alumni and guests, who have exhibited their commitment, perseverance and the development and expansion of our alma mater.
The North Carolina Chapter has worked unremittingly to assure that the highest level of success will be achieved. We intend to not only focus on our alumni, but also on their families, thereby making sure there is something for everyone to enjoy.
As with every convention, one of the key focal points is increasing our membership. This year we are challenging all chapters to join us as we embark on an intensive campaign to locate our “Spartans” who have lost interest in the association for whatever reasons. We hope to rekindle interest in this association and also enroll new members. Chapter heads, your role in achieving this goal is pivotal. Remember, every member makes a difference and every gift benefits our cause.
We want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one for their hard work and support including our patrons, without whom this wouldn’t be possible. To our fellow chapter members that devoted all that time and energy in making sure this was a success, we also say THANK YOU.
To our guests, we welcome you to the “Queen City” and hope that your stay will be a pleasant and memorable one. Coming together, staying together and working together is success.
Richard A. Wright, Sr.
